Electric Pour Over Kettle

I wanted to upgrade my tea time and get an electric pour over kettle. I saw this beauty on ThatsChelsea’s blog. The design and color caught my eye. What sold me is the temperature control. It has a temperature control where you can select the desired temperature.

Come to find out this is important with certain teas. They need the water to be a specific temperature for you to get the most benefits out of them. I am a girly girl, so I had to go with the pink also.

It is more beautiful in person. I got it from the brand company website (Fellow), and their customer service is fantastic. It is sold out on their website. I linked another place that carries it also.

Glass Blooming Tea Set

I had my eye on this baby for a while. My kids got the set for me as one of my Mother’s Day gift last year. I love it.
The set includes a glass teapot, 12 blooming teas, a loose tea infuser, & a tea warmer.

You can brew the blooming tea that turns into a flower before your eyes.  You can brew loose teas in it also. It comes with a cute tea warmer.

The set I got is unavailable now, but I linked a similar one with all the things that came with mine.

Barefoot Dreams Blanket

I like to have a cozy blanket everywhere I go. It seems like the older I get, the more I want to carry a blanket with me lol. This blanket fits the bill. It can be used for home, travel, movies, etc. It feels so soft against my skin.

It is a little pricey for a blanket. I promise you I was giving myself all types of side-eyes before I hit the pay button lol.
It’s been on my list for a while, at least a year before I purchased it. I love it. I got it in camel/black.

This luxury caddy takes self-love and spiritual baths to another level. You can use it for a romantic night with your significant other.

It has expendable handles and plenty of accessory spots. You can dress it with whatever items you want during your time in your bath.

Jade roller

This small, inexpensive tool does wonders for me. It relaxes me & helps alleviate stress. I also use it to drain my sinuses & add moisturizer to my face.  It is also said to reduce puffiness.

It is a part of my ritual when I speak positive affirmations to myself in the mirror. Tip: Put it in the fridge. The cooling sensation wakes me all the way up in the morning.

Stress Relief candle

If you are into candles, aromatherapy candles are where it is at. There is nothing like the smell of eucalyptus & spearmint blended. It gives nothing but relaxing and healing vibes. You can choose whatever aromatherapy candle you like to help set the mood.

Skin Care Fridge

Some skincare tools & products perform better chilled, and some also keep their strength longer chilled.

According to Finishing Touch Flawless, It is said that the cooling effects help prevent premature aging & discoloration, calms & rejuvenate the skin, refresh the skin, soothes inflamed skin.

From my personal experience, I can agree. I wrote a whole blog post about the benefits of a skincare fridge. You can check it out here.

If you have been following my blog, you know I am all about making things easy and convenient. Well, a skincare fridge fits the bill. I was storing a skincare tool (jade roller) & a couple of products in my regular refrigerator.

When I wake up in the morning, I used to go into the kitchen to get that tool and products. Now, I don’t have to. My skincare fridge fits nicely in my bathroom. It cuts down on time and makes it easy to get my morning routine started and done. It’s chic & functional.

Acupressure mat & pillow

This inexpensive tool hurts so good. It helps mentally and physically. I use it as a part of my nighttime routine. I take my eucalyptus leaves shower or self-love bath. Afterward, I prepare my bedroom for relaxing and calming vibes.

I light a small aromatherapy candle, turn on my white noise machine to the sound of the ocean. I lay the acupressure mat on my bed, and I lay on it without a shirt for about 25 minutes.

Afterward, I have a natural high. My body and mind feel so good and light. I have been using this tool for over six months. From my experience, it does help relieve back pain, produce relaxation, and help improve sleep.

I had to build up to this process. Initially, I started with 5 minutes with a shirt on. I gradually work my way up to this process. At first, all you feel is pain, but it gradually turns into relief.

I have never use the pillow. The mat does the trick for me. My husband will use the mat earlier in the day. Before bed, he prefers the pillow over the mat.

Check with your doctor, and do your research before using this tool. I found an article stating how people with high blood pressure may want to avoid it.

Gold Reusable Straws.

I love pieces in my home that can be used as a tool, inspiration, and home decor all in one. This cutting board does just that. While I am cutting up my veggies, I am reminded to take care of the inside. It looks good on my counter as home decor also. It is a win-win.

Nutri Ninja

This machine is an easy and quick way to make smoothies. It is a single serving blender. It is used in my household daily by a few people.

You make your smoothie in a cup that you can take on the go. It does not have a button to hit to blend the ingredients. You have to press down on the cup to blend. It does not take long. It is quick..

Are you wanting to start juicing and are not trying to break the bank? This juicer is good for the price range. I have been using this brand of juicer for almost seven years.

After year 4, my husband bought another one. He got the same brand. It was something he did that cause it to stop working. We have been using the second one ever since.

Handheld Milk Frother

It is a quick way to make lattes at home. Coffee lovers, it helps to save money over time. Dandy Blend is a great coffee alternative. I like to use my milk frother to make dandy blend lattes.

It can be used for so many things such as lattes, Matcha teas, Cappuccino, Frappuccino, cocktails, hot chocolate, etc.

A cozy pair of slippers is a need in my daily routine. Since it is chilly around these parts now, these come in handy. These leopard styled slippers are chic and comfy.

Silk Pillow Case

Cotton pillowcases are said to be harsh on the skin and hair. According to experts on Prevention.com, silk pillowcases provide a surface of smoothness for your skin, reduce wrinkles, and reduce frizz of your hair. I love my silk pillowcase, and it feels like a luxury.

I am aware of the benefits of silk regarding the hair. For many years, I slept with a silk scarf on my head to prevent breakage and frizz.

It works, but it may slide off in the middle of the night. I don’t have to worry about that with the silk pillowcase. It does the job the whole night. My hair is soft when I wake up in the morning without any breakage.

I can’t speak about the effects of wrinkles, but it does feel soft against my face. I look refresh in the morning. My skin does not feel dry after I wake up.

So, it is not causing friction against my skin or stripping my skin of moisture. That is a winner in my book. The one I have is unavailable. I linked a similar one.

Journaling and I go way back. Journaling has been a part of my routine since I was a teenager.  I love writing. With journaling, I get to write whatever I want.

I get to brain dump, express gratitude, release feelings, etc. It is very therapeutic for me. I always pick my journals up from local stores.

Best Wellness Gifts

Salt lamp.

I am all about creating a nice ambiance in my home. This lamp helps create a soothing and relaxing environment.  The light is beautiful. Mine is sold out. I linked a similar one.

If you are looking for a healthier alternative to release scents in your space, a diffuser fits the bill. Diffusing certain essential oils bring different results.

If you need a boost in the morning, you can use citrus oils in the diffuser.  If you need to unwind after a long day, you can use relaxing oils such as lavender, eucalyptus, chamomile, etc.

Mine is sold out. I linked a similar one that is a diffuser and humidifier duo.

Check with your doctor before use.

White Noise Machine.

This soothing sound machine fits the bill for a couple of things. It has 36 different sounds. For sleep, my husband and I prefer the sound of the ocean. It helps us drift off into sleep land.
Another way I use this machine is during meditation time. I have the sound of my choice playing in the background while I meditate.
This machine is a part of my nighttime routine in two ways. It is used for sleep and with my acupressure mat. I let the sound of my choice play in the background when I lay on the acupressure mat.

Cube timer

It has helped me with my time management. It is an inexpensive tool that allows me a certain amount of time to get things done. When using the timer, I am focused on the specific task for the allowed time.

Because when the timer goes off, the time is up for the specific task I was focusing on.

My phone has a timer, but the feeling is not the same. I think it is something psychological regarding the idea of a timer. It helps you stay focus on the task at hand. It is a great tool to have when working from home.

You can check out this blog postI wrote about excuses and improving my time management skills featuring this timer.

If you like to use a paper planner, this planner is inexpensive, cute, and gets the job done.

Coco Mademoiselle Chanel Parfum

I feel so good when I put on my favorite parfum.  I fell in love with this parfum about 13 years ago. I use other fragrances, but this is my absolute favorite.

If you are into fragrances, your taste may be different than mine. It is all about having your favorite one in your stash to give you a quick boost of feel good.

Hydro flask

If you are a reader of Life Through Fancy Eyes, you have heard me rave on about my hydro flask. My kids got my first one for one of my Mother’s Day gift last year. I loved it so much until I bought another one.

The hydro flask keeps your drinks cold for up to 24 hours. It keeps your hot drinks hot for up to 12 hours. In the summer in Texas, the hydro flask is a close companion because it is so hot. It is truly a favorite around my household. My husband and both of my daughters have one.

As I have mentioned many times on the blog, it helps me with my water intake. Every night I prepare lemon water and let it sit on my nightstand. It sits there waiting for me in the morning.

The first thing I do when I get up is drink my lemon water. My hydro flask makes it easy and convenient to achieved my water intake goal

Shiatsu Back & Neck Massager

Okay, this gem right here was my husband first. I kind of took it for a while lol. See, what had happened was, one night my lower back and the top of my buttocks were aching. Honestly, this part of my body was aching for a few days. I remember that my husband had this massager.

It was one of his Father’s Day gifts from our kids last year. I tried it. Those little globes on it moving around in different directions is intense. Wherever you put it to work, you can tell it is getting in there deep. Afterward, I felt great and my back pain was gone.

So, I started implementing it in my routine as a 25-30 minutes weekly session towards the end of the week. It was like my at-home weekly massage.

24k Gold Facial Massager

This tool is used in my nighttime skincare routine a few times a week. I speak positive affirmations to myself while I apply my moisturizer to my skin. I talked about how I found this facial massager before on the blog. If you are new here, let me give you a quick back story.

So, I was looking through Pinterest one night and came across this facial massager. The gold color piqued my interest.

I went to google and found an article about the celebrity, Traci Ellis Ross talking about how she uses this inexpensive in her skincare routine. She is aging well, and she takes care of herself. Next, I added it to the cart.

The kit I bought came with two tools, a 3D roller face massager & T shape electric energy massage device. It is said to tighten skin, increase blood circulation to causing a facelift, removing dark circles, etc.

It has similar results as the jade roller. I would say this kit is more advance and have more benefits than the jade roller. Both are great. You also can use the electric massager that comes in this kit for any other part of your body you feel need massaging.

I have my eyes on some items to add to list. I will update this list from time to time.

What are some wellness must haves of yours?

  1. Lovely blog! Love some of these ideas–the slippers, the blanket, the salt lamp. Excellent for self care and practical too, so you are not filling up people’s house with stuff.
